That injury prevented her from improving on her 7th place finish at the 2004 World Juniors, a feat she achieved at a mere 16 years old. In 2011, she re-emerged as a member of the next great class of Jamaican female sprinters. At 23 and a member of Racers Track Club, in 2011 Schillonie improved her 100m personal best from 11.19 to 11.05.
